Oliver’s Travels

Square

Starting in November of 2017, Hancock Health added a new member to the family, Oliver! Oliver was our therapy dog that had been bred, licensed and trained through the Indiana Canine Assistance Network (ICAN) and has been trained to work with people who have emotional needs. We decided to follow Oliver, along with his handler, Rob Newcomber, to capture how he impacted patients and Associates through his own eyes.

Oliver, unfortunately, had to stop visiting the hospital as often toward the end of 2018. He would visit the hospital twice a month, and he was quite the star around Greenfield. I posted videos, blogs, and social media posts each time that he stopped by.

Here’s a glimpse of a hospital visit through the eyes of Oliver:

I also wrote blog posts called Oliver’s Travels, in the voice of Oliver to show how greatly he impacted people’s moods.

Below are some examples of the social media that I put together to promote #OliversTravels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
